Privacy notice
This notice describes how EMUS handles information submitted through this website. It covers technical enquiries and requests for manufacturer or product brochures, not marketing subscriptions.
Who is responsible
EMUS d.o.o., Oreškovićeva ulica 1A, 10010 Zagreb, Croatia, VAT/OIB HR28325227310. For privacy questions or requests, contact products@emus.hr or +385 99 534 9774.
Information we collect
Contact forms collect your name, company, work email, optional phone, industry or technology interests, and message. Brochure requests also record the requested manufacturer, product, document name and link; country, industry, phone and project details are optional. We record the submission time, source page and language, acknowledgement of processing, a duplicate-detection fingerprint and email-notification status. Please do not submit sensitive personal information.
Why we use it and proposed legal bases
We use enquiry details to respond, assess your technical request and follow up on that request. Article 6(1)(b) GDPR may apply to steps you request before a contract where you are the prospective contracting party. For contacts acting for a company, Article 6(1)(f) may be appropriate for the legitimate interest of handling business enquiries. Requested brochure delivery and its request record are proposed to rely on Article 6(1)(f): providing the requested document and managing the request. Necessary duplicate prevention, access security and notification diagnostics are also proposed legitimate-interest purposes. EMUS must confirm these bases and its legitimate-interest assessment before approving this notice. The form acknowledgement is not marketing consent.
Brochures and marketing
Product information, image enlargement, videos and brochure previews are free. Manufacturer and product brochure downloads require contact details; technical and safety datasheets do not. The EMUS company brochure is free to preview and download without a form. Submitting a form does not automatically subscribe you to marketing or request a sales call.
Access and service providers
Enquiry records are held in Lovable Cloud. Authorized EMUS staff access saved enquiries; ordinary visitors cannot read them. The website is hosted through Lovable and uses its asset delivery and error-reporting services. Resend is connected for server-side notifications to products@emus.hr, including your contact and request context. Domain verification and delivery testing are still pending. Processor contracts, processing locations and any required international-transfer safeguards require EMUS review; this notice does not assert that they have been verified.
Browser storage and external content
Successful brochure contact details are reused only in temporary React memory and are not stored in cookies, local storage or URLs. Staff sign-in uses browser local storage for the authentication session. No Google Analytics or Meta advertising pixel was found in the inspected application. External video players are loaded only when activated and may process technical data under their own notices. Hosting and error reporting may process technical request and error information; operational logging practices still require confirmation.
Retention
EMUS proposes keeping inactive enquiries for 24 months after the last meaningful interaction, followed by deletion or anonymisation. This is an operating proposal, not a statutory period. Active opportunities, customer records and records required by law are considered separately. Automated expiry or deletion has not been implemented; staff must review records manually. EMUS must approve the rule and arrangements for backups and service-provider records.
Your requests
Contact products@emus.hr to request access, correction, deletion or restriction, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, or to ask about portability where applicable. EMUS may need to verify your identity. Applicable rights and exceptions depend on the circumstances. You may complain to the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP) or the competent supervisory authority. EMUS director Edin Musemić will review and approve this notice before publication.
