About the ECO Water Red
ECO Water Red is a water-washable, color-contrast, UV-fluorescent penetrant with excellent resolution when detecting indications of surface discontinuities. This penetrant belongs to the CGM’s ECO line as it is a water-based product: it therefore does not contain petroleum derivatives or hydrocarbon mixtures. It thus has a low environmental impact compared to classic petroleum-based liquid penetrants. Additionally, you can use it as a fluorescent liquid under UV light to amplify indications. Intended NDT method: water-based dye liquid penetrant inspection. CGM states compliance with ASME Sect. V Art. 6, ASTM E165, ASTM E1417, EN ISO 3452-2, PMUC (certificate of compliance upon request). Published packaging: 10 L cans, 100 L plastic drums, 200 L metal drums.
