U 53 is a white water-based peeling gel.
About the Couplant U 53
U 53 is a white water-based peeling gel. It is suitable for the most common applications under normal conditions of use for both defect and thickness checks. The presence of anti-corrosives prevents oxidation, so it is not essential to remove the gel after the check. The product is non-toxic to the skin, has no hazard labels and is not harmful to the environment. The characteristic of being peeling allows for faster removal of the residue. Intended NDT method: ultrasonic testing. CGM states compliance with ASME V Art.5 (T-533), MIL-STD-271, PMUC (certificate of compliance upon request). Published packaging: 5 kg buckets.
