U 55+AC is a powder used for the preparation of a transparent water-based coupling gel, the viscosity of which can be adjusted according to the amount of water used. The gel obtained is suitable for the most common applications under normal conditions of use for both defect and thickness checks. It contains anti-corrosive so as not to affect the surfaces under examination. The product is non-toxic to skin, has no danger labelling and is not harmful to the environment. Intended NDT method: ultrasonic testing. CGM states compliance with ASME V Art.5 (T-533), FAA AC 25-29 (glycerin free), MIL-STD-271, PMUC (certificate of compliance upon request). Published packaging: 200 g envelope plastic bags, 5 kg envelope plastic bags.
