About the Special Gage Division — Custom Gages
When standard tools and gages cannot solve a measuring challenge, the Starrett Special Gage Division designs a specially made gage together with the customer's engineers. Established in 1958, it has served government, aerospace, automotive and ordnance customers as well as plastics, food packaging and medical component manufacturers. Requests are scoped from information about the part (drawings, features, tolerances) and the gage (type, readout, setting master).
