Optical comparators, digital comparators, vision systems, video inspection and force & material testing from Starrett Metrology Systems.
About Starrett
Starrett Metrology Systems (Starrett Kinemetric Engineering) is the metrology division of The L.S. Starrett Company. It designs and builds horizontal optical comparators, digital video comparators, vision measurement systems, video inspection systems and force & material test systems for dimensional and mechanical quality control.
The portfolio extends from benchtop profile projectors and manual video systems to CNC vision metrology platforms and motorized universal test frames. Most dimensional systems run MetLogix™ M2, M3 or Mx software, enabling field-of-view measurement, video edge detection and direct comparison with DXF CAD data; the force range is controlled by Starrett DFG/DFC gages or Lx (L1, L2, L2Plus, L3) software.
For measuring tasks beyond standard equipment, Starrett offers engineered custom metrology systems and, through its Special Gage Division (established 1958), purpose-built gages for specific part and application requirements.
