About the VUFLEX Sword Videoscope
The VUFLEX was developed for the visual inspection of tube bundles in steam generators and is today viZaar's thinnest videoscope. Its sword-shaped stainless-steel construction is only 2.4 mm wide in the thinnest version (6.5 mm in the largest) and is completely stable vertically yet extremely flexible horizontally, allowing it to be pushed between tubes, through pipe lanes and into transition areas at tube sheets. The single-piece construction has no joint between head and band, eliminating the risk of head detachment in sensitive environments. An image sensor with adjustable exposure and brightness control helps document defects that cannot be approached directly. The VUFLEX S is the serial version; customised variants, including integrated retrieval tools and a tiltable camera, are available.
