About the Baincut HSS Plus
The Baincut HSS Plus extends the HSS concept to larger specimens. A 2 HP three-phase motor with variable speed from 100 to 5000 rpm drives diamond or abrasive wheels up to 8" (200 mm), and a 40 mm Z-movement adds flexibility for specimens up to 50 mm diameter. It is intended for slicing surface-engineered components and hard, sensitive materials with minimal damage, and is widely used by research laboratories.
