About the Petrography GEO Series
The GEO Series is Chennai Metco's petrography line for geological thin-section preparation. It covers primary cutting of large samples, precision cutting-cum-cup grinding, glass-slide bonding, vacuum impregnation, mounting and automatic grinding/polishing to thin sections below 30 µm. Key machines include the Baincut SRC Auto for refractory bricks, rock and concrete up to 1000 × 150 × 100 mm, and the Baincut Large GEO for rock, ore and fossil sectioning.
