MTH Manual Test Stand
Model: MTH-550
Handwheel-driven single-column tester up to 2500 N (550 lbf) with high-resolution worm gear.

About the MTH Manual Test Stand
The MTH-550 is a manually operated single-column tester for tension or compression up to 2500 N (550 lbf). Its precision worm-gear drive makes high forces easy to apply: one handwheel turn moves the crosshead 0.03" (0.75 mm), over a total stroke of 4" (102 mm). Fitted with a Starrett force gage and optional digital scale it determines spring rates and initial tension; quick-change clevis adapters accept Starrett fixtures.
