About the Cougar EVO
The Cougar EVO is the compact CC-series system: it brings 2D, oblique 2.5D, laminography and CT inspection of electronics onto a footprint of about one square metre (1000 × 1050 mm). Its 1450 kg weight suits many standard building floors and, in many cases, the system can be moved in existing lifts.
It shares the FeinFocus FXT-160.50 / FXT-160.51 tubes (20–160 kV), flat-panel detector options and ±70° oblique viewing of the Cheetah EVO, with a 440 × 550 mm sample size and 310 × 310 mm radioscopic area.
FGUI workflows include VoidInspect automatic void calculation, eHDR image enhancement, a dose-reduction kit with low-dose detector mode, the Comet Yxlon FF CT reconstruction software and ProLoop for direct communication with inline AOI/AXI systems. Dragonfly 3D View and Dragonfly 3D World are available for visualisation and analysis.
