UX20
Compact X-ray and CT system for cast parts and industrial components up to 100 kg, with mini-focus or optional 225 kV meso-focus tube and line integration via CY Line Connect.

About the UX20
The UX20 is a universal X-ray and CT inspection system aimed especially at castings — a growing need as foundries produce larger and more complex e-mobility components. It is designed so operators of any experience level can run 2D and 3D inspections in manual, assisted or automated mode.
Two detector configurations are offered: flat-panel detector 2323 HB (179 µm pixel pitch) or 4343 DXi (139 µm, 3072 × 3072 px). The 4343 DXi configuration gives the larger inspection envelopes — 800 × 1100 mm in 2D, 340 × 280 mm in CT and 540 × 1100 mm in CT with ScanExtend. Sources are 160–225 kV mini-focus tubes or the optional 225 kV meso-focus tube, a sealed tube with three focal spots reaching into the micro-focus range.
Software includes SmartGuard collision protection, ScatterFix 2.0, ScanExtend, FlexCenter, track-and-trace of part IDs, Automated Data Transfer and the Healthmonitor. CY Line Connect provides a standard hardware and software interface (PLC, stack light, handling/data/safety connections) for integration into automated production lines.

Frequently asked questions
Which UX20 detector do I need?
The 4343 DXi gives larger 2D and CT envelopes and a higher pixel count; the 2323 HB suits smaller parts. The choice is made from your largest part and required detail size.
