About the Pouch Cell AOI & Packaging Line
Designed for appearance defect inspection and packaging of pouch cells, this system integrates multi-spectral lighting, photometric stereo imaging, and AI-based multi-angle analysis to enable full inspection of all six sides of the cell body and the positive/negative tabs.It detects a wide range of defects, including dents and impact damage, foreign particles, pinholes, wrinkling, R-corner damage, indentations, corner cracks, corrosion, scratches, and tape wrinkling on the cell body, as well as tab defects such as short circuits, whitening, wrinkles, breakage, corrosion, contamination, scratches, and pressure marks—providing a stable and reliable solution to key inspection challenges.
Documented functions: defect detection, handling, packaging & line integration, ocv electrical check. Defect types, inspection ranges, speeds and optical resolution in the specification table are quoted from K2 TECH; optical resolution describes the imaging system and is not a measurement accuracy unless stated as such.
Final detection capability depends on part condition, presentation, cycle time and the agreed defect catalogue; EMUS validates these with K2 TECH using sample parts before quotation.
