About the IPIDRO Magnetic Inspection Crawler
IPIDRO is viZaar's magnetic inspection crawler for remote visual inspection of hard-to-access ferromagnetic components. Magnetic wheels with a durable polyurethane coating and a flexible connector let it climb steep inclines in metallic pipelines, heat exchangers, cooling lines, process pipes, HVAC ducts, industrial boilers and chimneys, so the operator can inspect from a safe distance instead of entering confined or hot spaces. The integrated wide-angle camera delivers uncompressed Full-HD (1920 × 1080 px) images with a 145° field of view, supported by high-performance wide-angle LED illumination. Speed is finely controllable up to 3 m/min, and an integrated 20 m supply cable with metre marking aids orientation. IPIDRO is part of viZaar's Full-HD platform and is controlled and documented through the VUnit, with optional internal memory lock or hardware-encrypted USB storage.
