How the INTEGRAL 1 works
Brinell hardness tester for automatic cycles
From 1 to 3000 kgf (From 9,807 to 29421 N)
HBW 1/30 – HBW 2.5/15.625 – HBW 2.5/31.25 – HBW 2.5/62.5 – HBW 2.5/187.5 – HBW 5/25 – HBW 5/31.25 – HBW 5/62.5 – HBW 5/125 – HBW 5/250 – HBW 5/750 – HBW 10/100 – HBW 10/125 – HBW 10/250 – HBW 10/500 – HBW 10/1000 – HBW 10/1500 – HBW 10/3000 Optional: HBW 1/1 – HBW 1/1.25 – HBW 1/2.5 – HBW 1/5 – HBW 2.5/6.25 – HBW 2.5/7.8125
Fully motorized and automatic, the test is not affected by operator influences and can easily be used by operators of every level
INTEGRAL 1, a fully motorized system
Automatic contact with sample, loading and optical indentation measurement through the camera. The Integral 1 hardness tester is AFFRI System inside. This hardness testing instrument achieves the highest level of load accuracy and measurement resolution available for Brinell tests.
How does it work?
The hardness measurement is very easy, quick and absolute. The hardness test cycle is fully automatic and starts with just one drive (button or icon):
- Automatic contact with the specimen
- Auto-active sliding clamping
- Automatic loading
- Auto-switching to optic lens
- Autofocus by image scanning brightness
- Auto measure and result display
- Automatic return stroke at programmed distance
Specimen Auto-Contact From Any Distance
Fully motorized adjustable testing stand up to 500 mm / 20” vertical capacity including automatic contact with test surface from every distance with single start input (As option up to 700 mm / 28”). The activation of the test cycle is automatic, it starts when the head makes contact with the specimen which is automatically recognized at any position within the vertical stroke.
Vertical capacity from base to the indenter 500mm / 20″ (more on request)
Horizontal capacity from column to the indenter 170 mm / 6.5” (more on request)
Auto-Compensation Of All Deflections
When testing unstable samples or deflecting parts, the AFFRI System will follow the sample without losing contact thanks to its infinite stroke for indenter and clamping hood.
Load forces are applied through load cells and controlled in “ Closed Loop ” with a frequency of 1 khz, assuring perfect linearity in every range. Results are not affected by any structural deflection, misalignment or vibration. Accurate measurements on the first test, even in extreme conditions, eliminate the need for repeated tests. The R&R data is at the top of its class.
The Exclusive Milling Tool
Brinell hardness tester Integral 1 can be equipped with a sample preparation system which is directly installed on the head of the instrument.
Save time! Only 30 seconds to get the Brinell result!
Increase the accuracy and the quality of your Brinell results
Integral 1 is ready for INDUSTRY 4.0
This Brinell hardness tester has pre-installed software that controls the whole instrument during the entire cycle avoiding operator errors. Integral 1 Brinell software includes:
- Touchscreen 10/12″
- User friendly software designed inhouse
- Color highlighted results (low/ok/high)
- Live statistics and graph
- Programs of test settings
- Results archives
- Export results to: PDF, TXT, CSV, DOD, XLS and more
- Data enter via code bar scanning
- Outputs via RS232, USB and Ethernet
- Data exchange with management system MES
Motorized Turret
Automatic two position turret with one indenter and one objective, easily changeable with manual screwing. Auto-rotating, auto-tool-switching and auto-centering for a completely automatic Brinell test cycle. (On request 8 position turret)
Clamping System
Secure contact with the specimen is always maintained, even in the unlikely event of any specimen movement during the operation cycle. The clamping system assures complete stability of any test piece throughout the test cycle, even if it’s oiled, rusty or dirty.
Autofocus
The Auto Focus performs an automatic focus adjustment for the selected optic with precise positioning at any magnification by mean of real image scanning brightness. This system assures high reading accuracy and reduces reading time.
Heavy Duty Base
The wide work table base is capable of bearing masses over 3000 kg and special fixtures or anvils. Hardness measurements on bulky and irregular test pieces which cannot be easily reached by the regular bench hardness testers.
Auto-Reading Through Camera
From perfectly polished to rough & etched samples, the software automatically measure indents on any sample surface. Automatic light regulation on dark, opaque or polished samples. The software controls and adjusts the light and contrast to find the right combination and measure the indent.
