Overview

About the Integral Wheels

This special hardness tester Integral Wheels is a Brinell Hardness testing machine for train wheels and railway. Fully automatic Brinell test cycles up to 3000kgf with motorized turret, automatic loading, auto-focus and automatic reading. In order to make the operator’s work as easy as possible, it is equipped with a motor-driven rotating table, which can also move horizontally to load the wheel easily.

HBW 1/10 – HBW 1/30 – HBW 2.5/15.625 – HBW 2.5/31.25 – HBW 2.5/62.5 – 2.5/187.5 – 5/25 – 5/62,5 – 5/125 – 5/250 – 5/750 – 10/100 – 10/250 – 10/500 – 10/1000 – 10/1500 – 10/3000

In order to make the operator’s work as easy as possible, this special hardness tester INTEGRAL WHEELS is equipped with a motor-driven rotating table, which also moves frontward to load the wheel easily. By setting a fully automatic Brinell cycle (e.g. 3 tests at 120°, 4 at 90°, etc.) the motor-driven rotating table allows the tests to be carried out by programming the test points, working with the highest precision and considerably reducing the working time.

How the Integral Wheels works

Benefits

  • Easy loading of heavy samples thanks to the moving table
  • Fast measuring process with considerable time saving
  • Considerable reduction of operator working time
  • Automatic test positioning with high precision
  • Hardness testing on 100% of production

Automation

In order to make the operator’s work as easy as possible, this special hardness tester INTEGRAL WHEELS is equipped with a motor-driven rotating table, which also moves frontward to load the wheel easily. By setting a fully automatic Brinell cycle (e.g. 3 tests at 120°, 4 at 90°, etc.) the motor-driven rotating table allows the tests to be carried out by programming the test points, working with the highest precision and considerably reducing the working time.

The Exclusive Milling Tool

Special hardness tester Integral Wheels is also equipped with a sample preparation system which is directly installed on the head of the instrument.

Save time! Only 30 seconds to get the Brinell result!

Integral Wheel Software

The special hardness tester Integral Wheels has a pre-installed software which controls the whole instrument during the entire cycle avoiding operator errors. The hardness tester software includes:

  • Touchscreen gloves sensitive
  • User friendly software designed inhouse
  • Color highlighted results (low/ok/high)
  • Live statistics and graph
  • Programs of test settings
  • Results archives
  • Export results to: PDF, TXT, CSV, DOD, XLS and more
  • Data enter via code bar scanning
  • Outputs via RS232, USB and Ethernet
  • Data exchange with management system MES

XY Rotating Table

Bring the table to the front to load the sample with your lifting system. Move the stage to the back, make a Brinell test and then rotate the table to test the wheel at different angles. Fully motorization available.

Motorized Turret

Multiples slots for different ball indenters and magnification lenses. Auto-rotating and tool switching for a completely automatic single or multi indentation measurement cycle. Bigger turret available with surface preparation tool.

Auto-Reading And Auto-Focus

Automatic indentation reading through camera. To make the test just push the start button: the hardness tester will make the contact, apply the test force, switch to the objective, auto-focus, read the indent and give the result.

Motorized Turret 8P

Optional: Up to 8 slots (or more) for different hardness scales indenters, different optic lenses, laser and even a milling surface preparation tool. Auto-rotating and auto-tool-switching for a complete automatic measurement cycle. For single or multi hardness test methods using only one tester.

Clamping System

Optional: Secure contact with the specimen is always maintained, even in the unlikely event of any specimen movement during the operation cycle. The clamping system assures complete stability of any test piece throughout the test cycle, even if it’s oiled, rusty or dirty.

Touchscreen

Easy joystick and buttons control. Large capacity Hard Disk and PC assure infinite performance as well as remote control for easy assistance everywhere. USB and Ethernet outputs. Connect to database networks, PC’s and printers, to download data or for final custom reports.
