About the Diameter Sorter 1830 / 3060 / 4080 / 60100
The large Diameter Sorters cover balls from 18 mm to 100 mm, measuring each ball with an LVDT probe at ±0.15 µm repeatability and sorting into size groups plus NOK.
An optional microstructure test with an eddyguard S and encircling coil separates balls of differing material or hardness (ferromagnetic steels only). Note: ibg's order table lists sorting ranges for the 1830 and 3060 that conflict with its speed table; EMUS confirms the exact range in the quotation.
