eddyvisor S
Model: eddyvisor S / SC
Modular multi-channel eddy-current instrument with up to 32 structure-test channels for demanding hardness, case-depth and heat-treatment verification.

About the eddyvisor S
The eddyvisor S is the high-end modular instrument of the ibg structure test family, with up to 32 structure-test channels in a compact housing. The eddyvisor SC variant combines structure and crack channels in one unit for systems that verify heat treatment and detect cracks at the same time.
Like all ibg instruments it uses PMFT and good-part-only referencing, and it accepts the full range of standardised ibg coils, probes and rotating heads, so it is used both for new test tasks and to upgrade existing inspection machines.
Eddy-current structure testing is comparative: the instrument learns tolerance zones from known good, correctly heat-treated reference parts and reports whether each part matches that reference. It does not output an absolute hardness value or a direct case-depth measurement; parts that fail should be examined metallurgically or with a conventional hardness test to establish the cause.
