Solutions
Turn a physical part into an accurate digital model
When there is no CAD — or the part has evolved beyond it — we help you capture true geometry, inside and out, for redesign and reproduction.
Reverse Engineering
You need to reproduce, redesign or replace a part that has no usable CAD data, or whose real geometry differs from the original model. Manual measurement cannot capture complex freeform shapes or internal features accurately.
Accurate digitisation makes it possible to remanufacture obsolete components, improve existing designs and recover lost documentation. It shortens development cycles and removes dependence on original drawings that may no longer exist.
Approaches worth considering
There is rarely a single right answer. These are the methods most relevant to this challenge — the best choice depends on your part and goals.
Optical 3D scanning
Capture dense, accurate point clouds of external surfaces and freeform geometry.
Industrial CT
Digitise internal and external geometry together, including hidden features.
CAD model reconstruction
Convert scan data into parametric or surface models for design work.
Scan-to-CAD comparison
Verify how a reproduced or modified part compares to the digital reference.
